THOUSAND OAKS COVE RESIDENCE

DESCRIPTION

This modular home is one in a series of builds based on a prototype meant for residential development. It combines a simple exterior form conducive to modular construction and assembly with a richly developed series of well-appointed interior spaces. The diagram centers around a pool courtyard surrounded by the various living spaces both interior and exterior. The simplicity of the form is intended to accommodate any number of variations of both interior finish-outs and exterior cladding options.

The public-facing kitchen is minimal, consisting of two clean parallel islands with a fully enclosed millwork back wall, perfect for entertaining. This is supplemented by a hidden butler’s pantry for additional storage and appliances. The space is almost absorbed into the living room as an extension of the space, all of which opens completely to the pool deck and accessory unit to the rear.
