Quarters on Campus – Grayson House Amenities

We placed a large, formal shade trellis in the street-level courtyard of this student apartment building at the University of Texas at Austin in order to activate the space and draw residents and visitors into the space. By providing a variety of seating options under a shady canopy, we allow the space to be occupied day or night. The courtyard also now provides direct access to the interior amenities lounge that gives students access to spaces for study or recreation.
